Frequently Asked Questions

Is BodyTalk safe?

BodyTalk is a non-invasive and safe modality. It does neither diagnose nor does it involve medication, supplements or needles. There are no contraindications. The only possible short term side effects are flu-like healing symptoms when your body mobilizes its microbes fighting forces.
Please be advised that BodyTalk is not a substitute for conventional medical care, and there are times when a consultation with a physician or a vet is required.

How long are BodyTalk sessions?

The initial session can take up to 90 minutes as it includes an in-depth discussion about your health concern. Allow 1 hour for subsequent sessions, although they might only take  between 30 to 45 minutes. The actual length of the session is determined by what your body needs and can handle on the day.

How to prepare for a BodyTalk session?

For your first session I will ask you to fill out an ‘Intake Form’. This gives me a basic understanding of the current state of your or your animal’s health and what you would like to achieve.

Can anyone get a BodyTalk treatment?

Everybody can receive BodyTalk treatments. From babies to seniors and everybody in between, horses, cats, dogs and in fact any kind of animal.

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients feel a significant improvement after 3 – 5 sessions.

What can I expect after a BodyTalk session?

That is totally dependent on the session and on your original complaint. You might feel or see an improvement straight away or only after a few days. Some clients don’t even notice that their pain is gone until asked about it.
You might be more thirsty for a while or you might feel flu-like symptoms for a day or two if your body needs to fight bacteria or viruses.

Should I still see my doctor?

Yes. BodyTalk can compliment any other healthcare modality and can increase their effectiveness. It can help reduce negative side effects of medications and can speed recovery after surgery.
